Joy is an interesting thing when it comes to suffering, are we called to be joyful all the time during a trial? Just at the beginning? What are your thoughts, and why?
Joy should stem from my clear view of Jesus in the midst of trials. This is not all there is and in the midst of trouble that is great joy. Also, the promise that these trials will rid me of impurities in character and lead to a greater reward should help joy to have it's place in my heart.
